FLOATING BAFFLE CURTAIN
Floating baffle curtains are water screening systems used in the marine industry to contain debris and larger sediments. Made of long, flexible strips that float on the water's surface, these curtains have weighted bottom edges to stay in place and prevent debris from passing underneath. Commonly deployed in wastewater treatment, aeration, and mixing ponds, baffle curtains help improve oxygen uptake and retention time. They also control water flow speed and can be used with spill response equipment like skimmers, booms, and sorbent pads to aid in oil containment and recovery. Tapered ends are available to fit pond contours, and all welds are RF welds for superior strength. Various fabric options and custom sizes are available to meet specific requirements.
